ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enhance our current web-based platform and innovate new greenfield products using PHP, Vue.js, Python and MySQL on AWS using micro-services, serverless and other  relevant architecture.
  • Build unit tests and develop high-quality and maintainable software.
  • Adhere to best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of software solutions, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to suggest innovative solutions.
  • Document software design, development processes, and code to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and product owners.
  • Work closely with experienced developers, software architects, and project managers to create high-quality solutions

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education:

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree  


Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in web application development.
  • 3+ years of experience in PHP
  • 3+ years of experience in back-end development.
  • 1+ years of experience front-end development
  • Expertise in backend programming including database programming and Rest API programming
  • Expertise in using MVC design pattern with any framework such as Phalcon, Laravel, Symfony, etc
  • Expertise in MySQL or other database programming
  • Experience in Python is a huge plus. If not, must be willing to learn
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience in Jenkins or other CI/CD pipeline tools
  • Experience in Cloud such as AWS
  • Experience with any Git based source control
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum processes.
