In connection with the dynamic development of the company, Straal is now expanding its footprint to the Lithuanian market where Hireview has been selected to support Straal in its search for a Compliance Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates, maintains, and improves all compliance policies and manuals as required by law, and local regulatory requirements
  • Audits processes, practices, and documents, and ensures that the company has effective systems, procedures, and controls for AML and KYC compliance
  • Creates and manages effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations
  • Oversees and monitors the implementation of all compliance programs
  • Collaborates and liaises with internal departments, regulators, authorities, and external service providers to resolve legal and compliance issues
  • Advises management on the company’s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports
  • Develops efficient procedures and controls to maintain an effective compliance regime while meeting business objectives
  • Maintains extensive documentation
  • Performs financial investigations
  • Reports to the BoL on compliance matters
  • Trains the staff on compliance matters

Requirements:

  • Experience as a compliance officer for at least 2-3 years
  • Understanding of local and EU level regulations, KYC and AML practices
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulation relating to payment industry
  • Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Exceptional analytical and investigative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Lithuanian and English languages
